Hi, I’m Kelly Torok. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about KT Medical Staffing—I’m glad you’re here.

 

I earned my Associate of Science degree in 2014 from New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, New Mexico, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 from Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. During my academic training, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a local hospital, gaining early hands-on experience in patient care.

After graduating with my BSN, I relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee, where I began my nursing career in the ICU and CVICU, developing a strong foundation in critical care. After three years at the bedside, I transitioned into ICU travel nursing, providing care across multiple healthcare facilities throughout the United States. My clinical experience further expanded into hospice care, private duty concierge nursing, senior placement services, and organ procurement with OneLegacy.

While serving as a bedside ICU nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic, I witnessed firsthand the critical gaps in medical staffing—particularly the need for organizations that prioritize patient advocacy, staff support, and clinical excellence. These experiences inspired me to establish KT Medical Staffing in 2021. Since its inception, KTMS has remained committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. I take great pride in leading a team that consistently strives to make a meaningful difference in every care setting we serve.
